Annise Parker Receives Endorsement of Former Opponent Peter Brown
Annise Parker today received the endorsement of her former opponent in the Houston Mayor’s race, City Councilmember Peter Brown. In a news conference on the steps of City Hall, Brown today announced that he would be casting his vote for Parker in the runoff election December 12 and he asked all his supporters, friends and family to do the same.

Annise Parker Sets Personal Online Fundraising Record
Annise Parker set a personal online fundraising record Wednesday as supporters donated over $79,170 in online contributions from 272 donors in response to a single email sent the day after she ran first in Houston's mayoral election. Parker also picked up more than 600 supporters on Facebook the day after the election, for a total of 8,174 supporters on Facebook alone - more than all her opponents in the mayor's race combined.
